Free delivery is available on all UK orders -For items listed as in stock, your order should be completed before 4:00pm (Monday-Friday) for us to despatch the same day or before 11:30am on Saturday for delivery Monday. Please note that all orders must pass our security policy before they are despatched and we must be able to take payment successfully, if this is not possible we will email or send an SMS with further instructions. For queries and delivery questions please feel free to call us on +441926 298499 (English only).For other items, a delivery estimate will be shown where possible. If we feel we are unable to adhere to the timescale after you place your order we will contact you to make you aware and allow you to change your order if necessary. Items will be sent by your chosen delivery method once they are back in stock and payment will not be taken until the items are despatched (NB. We aim for you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase and therefore offer you 30 days to change your mind on your purchase (excludes pre-owned watches). You may do this by using the form provided with your order or otherwise. We will provide a refund of all payment received (not including delivery upgrades), usually within 48 hours of receipt of the product. This will be made to the original payment method. For most payment methods it will take 3-5 working days for this to show on your statement.
Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy.For UK orders under £500, you may generate a free tracked and insured returns label on the Royal Mail website (opens in a new window). You can print this label and send it back at any local Post Office at no cost to yourself. It is also possible to have the label printed at Post Office using the QR code from the confirmation email. Please retain the proof of postage receipt. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a refund of return postage for returns through other methods, so we recommend printing the free postage label provided. For orders over £500, please consult your receipt for details on how to return. For international returns, you will need to bear the cost of returns postage. Please ensure the watch is returned to us in an unworn, new condition with all the original packaging (manufacturer's manual and guarantee if applicable). Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy. We reserve the right to make deductions for unnecessary damage caused to the product by yourself.
We are also able to offer an exchange to a different product if required, please specify this when returning your product.
If a fault develops with a watch that is outside of the 30 day returns period or is no longer in a new condition the watch can be returned to the manufacturer under the terms of the guarantee (we are an official UK dealer for all brands on our website) so that they can rectify any issues. So I wanted something less risky (price wise) and something that was useful sailing. And knowing when high tide is at Poole Harbour is top of the useful list.
So how did the Timex fare...
For telling the time-all of them do that. Accurate and easy to read
For telling the tide - you adjust to the tide at your location and it carries on telling you what the water is doing. Simple and efficient. There are not many alternatives and all others work on a computer database. The Times is simple and reliable.
For telling you other things - the temperature and compass. Again work fine so overall if you are lost at sea you know which way to go, what the tide is doing and how cold you are. Handy.
For looks and build - pretty good actually. Far better than the price tag would suggest.
Any down sides - not really. The glowing face could be brighter but that is minor.
In conclusion - am I a happy sailor...Oh yes 'me hearties.

I don't think there is a better looking, more stylish and even quite practical watch on the market for this price at the moment!I had a Tag Heuer Limited Edition Mercedes SLR which was over 10 times the price. This watch looks just as good! Value for money.
The Compass works really well and the Indiglo works a charm at night. The temperature gauge does run a bit higher than it should do around 5 to 10 degrees too high! The tide monitor, errm, I don't go to the beach much or sail a boat so I can't tell you if this works well or not.
The best thing was that First Class Watches do a price match guarantee and they matched mine with another online shop. Plus I ordered Friday morning and I received the Watch Special Delivery the next day on Saturday morning! Delivery was included free with the watch. Amazing!
I will always buy my watches from here from now on!
