By placing an order on our website, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. Below is a summary of our core terms relating to purchases, delivery, and returns.
1. Order Acceptance and Contract Formation
Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute a binding contract of sale. The contract of sale is only legally formed at the moment we dispatch the goods to you. We reserve the right to cancel or decline orders prior to dispatch due to security flags, stock discrepancies, or pricing errors.
2. Delivery and Transfer of Risk
We fulfill our contract by delivering your order to the nominated delivery address provided at checkout. Our couriers deliver to addresses, not strictly to named individuals. The risk of loss or damage passes to you the moment the item is delivered into the physical possession of a person at that address. We are not responsible for the internal security of your household, workplace or building.
3. Returns, Hygiene, and Diminished Value
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to return standard (non custom) orders within 14 days. We exceed this by offering a 30 day returns policy as standard, please review our returns policy page for full information. However, watches and jewellery are high-value, delicate items. To receive a full refund, items must be returned in pristine, unworn condition with all original tags, protective plastics, warranty cards, and packaging intact.
4. International Orders and Customs
For items shipped outside of the United Kingdom, you are considered the importer of record. For some markets, we offer a duties and taxes inclusive service, please review the delivery page and information during checkout to confirm if this is the case for your order. When duties and taxes are not included, the buyer is liable for all charges. First Class Watches is not liable for any delays caused by customs inspections or international postal services.
If you are dissatisfied with our response and your agreement is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge, but you must do so within six months of the date of the final response or 8 week holding letter. Although this web site is constantly being updated with new products and discontinued products being removed sometimes errors can be made. Please note manufacturers may occasionally update products and specifications may change at any time.
Where an item listed on this site has been discontinued or is out of stock we cannot adhere to our estimated delivery time, we will endeavour to send you an email or telephone call notifying you of this as soon as possible. However we always aim to please our customers and rely on our customers returning for future purchases and them to recommend us to friends and family. We also reserve the right to cancel any order where a mistake has been made with the pricing of a product.
We can make no guarantee or promise with regards to the fit as this is normally a service which is provided where the wearer is present. Where there is some uncertainty to the wearer's wrist size please consider having the bracelet sized locally by a competent jeweller (this shouldn't be more than £10-£15). This service is offered as a courtesy to customers when they purchase a watch with an adjustable "link" bracelet from First Class Watches SGP. We endeavour to size the bracelet prior to shipping based on the information you provide.
As the watch belongs to you, any links we remove will be included in the box of the watch upon delivery to you.
Watches sized by First Class Watches SGP are still returnable under the returns policy. All original links must also be returned and the watch should be unworn.
Although we apologize for mistakes in sizing we offer no form of compensation due to sizing error.
Sometimes it may not be possible for us to size a watch directly. This includes cases where the manufacturer deems it necessary to return the watch to them for sizing (in which case this responsibility will lie with the customer), periods of extremely high demand, or times when a jeweller is unavailable due to absence or holiday. We will endeavour to contact you when we are unable to size a watch.
Generally, sizing reductions do not delay the shipment of a watch. Although, in certain circumstances sizing may delay an order by one working day.
If the watch requires extra links to be ordered these are usually free of charge however some watches such as 9ct gold watches, ceramic watches and watches requiring more than 2-4 links (supplier dependent) may be chargeable due to the raw materials or brand policies.
If we need to order links will delay your order, usually only a few working days if this is in stock and we will endeavour to inform you of any delays.
Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulation 2006, upon purchase of a new item we accept to take back free of charge any waste electronics that have previously fulfilled the same function. We will then recycle the waste electronics and parts in an environmentally sound way.
This is part of the effort to reduce the disposal of WEEE as unsorted waste in European Union countries, and instead recycle that waste to the highest extent possible. All products displaying the crossed out wheeled bin symbol should be offered a recycling system upon purchase of a replacement.
First Class Watches Loyalty Program Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the First Class Watches Loyalty Program (“Program”). By joining or using the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. “We”, “Us”, or “The Company” refers to First Class Watches Limited, company number 06197519, with its registered office at 9 Warwick Road, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, England, CV8 1HD. “You” or “The Customer” refers to the individual participating in the Program.
Rewards and Redemption
Under the Program, you will earn rewards at the rate of one penny (£0.01) for every pound (£1.00) spent on qualifying purchases. Rewards are credited to your loyalty account and may be redeemed against future purchases at First Class Watches. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money, and may only be used as a discount in accordance with these Terms.
Rewards are personal to your account and may not be transferred to another person or account, except where duplicate accounts are identified and combined at the sole discretion of the Company as a goodwill gesture. If a purchase is returned, cancelled, or refunded, any rewards earned from that purchase will be deducted from your loyalty account. Where rewards have already been redeemed and your balance is insufficient to cover the deduction, the Company reserves the right to adjust future rewards or request repayment of the outstanding amount. The Company may suspend or restrict your account until any such negative balance is resolved.
Account Rules and Expiry
Each customer may hold one loyalty account. Accounts which remain inactive for twelve (12) consecutive months may be closed, and any rewards not used by that time will be forfeited. If your account is deleted or terminated, whether by you or by the Company, any associated rewards will also be lost. The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your participation in the Program if there is any breach of these Terms or other misuse of the Program.
Fraud, Abuse, and Technical Issues
The Program is intended for personal and fair use only. Any attempt to exploit system errors, malfunctions, or technical faults in order to obtain unearned rewards will be considered abuse. If we reasonably believe that fraudulent, abusive, or improper activity has taken place, we may close your account immediately and cancel any rewards earned. While we take reasonable care to operate the Program, we accept no liability for technical issues, errors, or delays, and we reserve the right to correct or adjust account balances in such cases.
Changes and Termination
The Company may amend, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice. This includes changes to the rate at which rewards are earned, the rules governing redemption, expiry terms, or account eligibility. Continued use of the Program following any change will be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms. If the Program is terminated, any outstanding rewards will expire immediately and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
Data Protection and Governing Law
By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that the Company will collect and process your personal information, including account details, purchase history, and loyalty balance, for the purposes of administering and managing the Program. Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. We may also use your information to communicate with you about your account, Program updates, or promotional offers. You retain the rights of access, rectification, and erasure of your personal data as set out under data protection legislation.
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with the Program will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
